This office offers a free one-hour consultation for persons
seeking information about bankruptcy. During the consultation, I will meet with
you with the goal of learning everything I can about your financial situation
and educating you regarding the options available under the law. It is my ultimate
goal to assist you in reaching the best outcome in the quickest way possible.
As each case is specific to each individual, it will be necessary to have some of your personal information to review during the initial consultation. Please bring the following items with you when you come for your initial consultation:
1. Most recent year's federal tax return
2. One month's pay stubs or pay advices
3. List of any persons or companies to whom you owe money and the amount owed*
4. The amount, if any, you are behind in payments to your mortgage company or
auto lender*
5. List of your monthly expenses (a form is provided for this purpose)*
* A form can be downloaded to assist you in gathering this information
You will also receive at the initial consultation all notices required by the
new bankruptcy code along with any materials you might need should you decide
to file a bankruptcy case.
Please note that there is no obligation to proceed with a bankruptcy case or
to hire this firm to represent you should you decide to do so after the initial
consultation. In the event that you do decide to file, you will set up a second
consultation which will allow us to review the complete information required
to file your case and to further educate you on the processes involved. It is
